Conference "Innovative procurement": how customers and suppliers can become friends?

What prevents an increase in purchases of innovative technologies? What is the role of SMEs in IT development? Why do potential suppliers and state-owned companies have difficulties in negotiations?

Specialists will try to find answers to these questions, as well as to review the best practices of tenders for innovative products within the thematic conference "Innovative procurement". The event will be held in the capital on April 20 with the support of Ministry of Economic Development, Agency of Strategic Initiatives and a number of other specialized organizations. "Association of electronic trading platforms" is a media partner of the conference.

Participants of the event will be representatives of state-owned companies and developers of innovative solutions in various industries. The business program will consist of three blocks of information: engineering, fuel energy, transport infrastructure and communications. Valery Cherry (State Duma Committee on Science and High Technology), Artem Shadrin (Department of Social Development, Economic Development and Innovation), Alexander Sokolov (LLC "Autodor-TC"), Pavel Roytberg (Innovation Center of JSC "Rostelecom") and other profile experts will submit their reports. At the plenary and breakout sessions they will discuss the needs of customers, prospects of innovative business and cooperation between small organizations and state-owned companies.

The outcome of the event will be the preparation of draft documents, enabling an increase in procurement of innovative companies with state participation and improving access of SMEs to such purchases.
